JalSip Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the JalSip mobile application (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. JalSip is a water-intake reminder with optional in-app coins and ads. The App does not create user accounts.

1. Who we are

JalSip is operated by the developer that publishes the App on Google Play. For privacy questions, email [email protected].

2. Information we process

We keep data collection to what the App needs to work:

• Water log and reminders. Amounts you tap, daily goal and reminder settings are stored on your device. We do not upload a drink history to our servers.
• Local app state. Coins, chest counts, coin history, redeem request notes and similar values stay on the device.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, the App schedules local drink reminders on the device. We do not read other apps’ notifications.
• Advertising ID and device data for ads. If ads are shown, the advertising ID plus basic device and app data (OS version, device type, country, language, IP address processed by ad partners) may be used by our mediation SDK and ad networks to request, serve and measure ads.
• Install / campaign data. Play Install Referrer and Adjust may receive install source, campaign identifiers, and device/app technical data to measure ads and app opens.
• Remote configuration. The App may fetch feature flags (for example whether an extra screen is shown) over HTTPS. This request is not tied to a login.
• Diagnostics. Crash or performance logs may be collected in anonymized or aggregated form.
• Support messages. If you message support (for example via Telegram), that service processes whatever you send. We do not require a name or email to use the App.

We do not ask for contacts, SMS, precise location, photos, microphone, physical activity, or payment card details. The App has no sign-up and no password.

3. How we use information

• Record water intake and run local reminders
• Operate chests, coins and local history
• Show rewarded and interstitial ads
• Measure installs, opens and ad events
• Load remote feature flags
• Respond if you contact support
• Comply with law and store policies

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use drink logs to build an advertising profile beyond what the ad and measurement SDKs do as described here.

4. Legal bases (if GDPR / similar laws apply)

Where those laws apply, we process data to provide the App you asked for, with your permission for notifications and ads, and for legitimate interests in measuring campaigns and keeping the App secure. You may revoke permission in Android settings.

5. Sharing

Device-side water and coin data stay on the device unless you screenshot or copy them yourself. We share limited technical and advertising data with:

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the App and users.

6. Retention

Local water, coin and history data remain on the device until you clear app data or uninstall the App. Advertising and measurement partners retain data under their own policies. We do not operate a cloud profile for you.

7. Security

We store App state on-device using standard Android storage. No method of storage is 100% secure. Keep your device locked and updated.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

The App is intended for users in India. Advertising and measurement partners may process data in other countries.

10. Your choices

• Deny or revoke notification permission. Reminders stay off; logging still works.
• Reset or delete advertising ID in Android settings.
• Opt out of ads personalization where Google provides that control.
• Clear local data or uninstall the App.

Because there is no account, we cannot remotely download a server copy of your log. We do not keep one.

11. Google Play Data safety summary

• App activity: install source and in-app events for measurement
• Device or other IDs: advertising ID for ads and Adjust
• Diagnostics: crash logs if a crash SDK is enabled
• Water logs stay on device and are not shared by us as a user profile

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
